Review of operational and occupational safety, general

• On-site inspection, at your request jointly with the plant manager
• Where possible, deficiencies are remedied on site
• Inspection report listing deficiencies, incl. suggested remedies
• Preparation of a hazard register, incl. regular updates
• Preparation of a hazard assessment (see new Ordinance §139 section (1) and 202 of SGB VII)
• Supervision of accident protection (UVV) inspection of the relevant equipment (e.g. cranes/forklifts)
• Annual safety instruction for personnel as well as introduction to work safety for new employees
• Advice relating to the selection of personal protective equipment, such as hearing protection, safety goggles, safety boots, etc.)
• Expert opinions relating to ladders/stepladders, incl. preparation of a report
• Plant inspection accompanied by plant physician
• Annual works committee meeting, attended by the plant physician and an employee representative of the company
• Preparation of work instructions in accordance with VGB 1
• Contact person for the union and the Ministry for Occupational Health and Safety, if requested and in case of problems
